bw/wm are still the most looked down on couple which is why it took so long to catch on. but where i live it's the most common IR couple already by a good bit. it's the fastest growing. the little attention the media does give to it is just them feeling like they have to appease a growing audience. the only IR couple they've really tried to promote has been bm/ww and they still do.

Prove it.  I could post national commercials running right now.  That show Black women and White men together.  Where do they promote Black men and White women?  It doesn't happen.

Where do talk show host tell Black men to date White women and leave Black women alone?
Where are the meetup groups or seminars telling black men to leave black women behind?
Where are the news articles or books saying get a white woman?

One word: Comedians
Chris rock etc all talk about it. " a white woman will play her position. A black woman wants your position" etc. etc. etc.

I totally agree with Brownsugahlovers comments (although I don't like terms like "playing in the snow/getting your swirl on" because I  see this term only being used as a subtle putdown of BW/WM-NON-BM IRR'S).

I'm so SICK/TIRED of ANTI-BW BM thinking it's their RIGHT to dictate who BW should/shouldn't love/date/marry.

BW DON'T BELONG TO BM AND THEY NEVER DID AND THEY DON'T OWE ANYONE (LEAST OF ALL ANTI-BW BM) APOLOGIES/JUSTIFICATIONS FOR WHO THEY CHOOSE TO LOVE/DATE/MARRY .

These USELESS/POS ANTI-BW BM HATERS who condone/promote attacks on the humanity, dignity, and femininty of BW/REFUSE to STOP PUBLICLY DEGRADING/DEMEANING/DISRESPECTING BW need to STAY OUT OF BW'S FACES/LIVES/BUSINESS.

Toni has always been an outspoken advocate of blackmen and men in general acknowledging the beauty of blackwomen on this planet.  It's always been an important issue for her, and she has never been shy to talk about it in private or public.

That's not her.  I ASSumed all BWE sites knew about her channel.

I don't want to hear anymore about Black women not in the media with white men.

i just went to http://youtube.com/blacktantra and there is no type of "proof" there.  so what do you mean?

response to words in red:  that's because you assumed black women empowerment (bwe) means "white man worship".  you think any black woman who dates outside of her race worships white men.  you think any black woman who dates outside of her race is anti-black man.  you think any black woman who dates outside of her race is going around the internet looking for every video and topic she can find on white men.  you know i have both bad and good things about all races of men (from black - white and everything in between...cause the bottom line people are people and race doesn't make someone automatically good or bad), so i don't know why you would lump me into that category.

Excellent observation Tru

Some women will be shortsighted and see this as a thing to celebrate.  But you would have to be blind.  Not to see this media push to get Black women and White men together.  It seems unnatural and forced.

This is solely because of money.  The media doesn't care about people in general.  They care about money.  I have yet to see one media outlet pushing white men to go after black women.  Since men are the chasers right?  But the only women in America that needs to be told to go after one specific race of man.  Is Black women.

The only people I've seen or heard that had a problem with it are mostly hypocritical racist black men who can't stand the idea of the "white devil" touching their women!  Black men have had no problem for years pursuing white women, while at the same time making black women feel they are under some "obligation" to stay within their own race! For decades BM have been able to keep black womens self esteem so low that they can be controlled, subservient and believe that they are so "undesirable" to other races that they must kowtow to BM!

It doesn't look like anyone has placed a gun to Miss Braxtons head to divulge her delight with "playing in the snow"! But, still you blame the media! Yep, all those white supremacists like Oprah are out there "forcing" black women to marry white men! Give me a break! BM are finally starting to get some competition and they hate it!

More and more white men like myself are finding out what delightful treasures some very exquisite BW, (that BM have been neglecting) truly are! For those who have a problem with Miss Braxton "playing in the snow" you better get ready. There's an avalanche coming!

the sister with the wm looks like the only one who hasn't bleached her skin or got plastic surgery. toni doesn't look bad though. but her and the other sister would probably look a lot better if they hadn't done that stuff.

@joeclyde i think  tantragoddess is one of my friends on youtube lol

she has a lot of soap opera clips. i've seen bm doing the same thing on youtube. she just likes soap operas i guess.

also, toni braxton is just ok. i watched her reality show, and one of her sisters looks messed up. way too much plastic surgery. and the prettiest one either has a white husband or ex and i think they have a kid together. i'm not putting her sister down because she is with a bm, but she is the least attractive (probbly not naturally tho) but i was just saying the prettiest one is already with a wm so i don't see why they would be recruiting toni  :-\

@joeclyde what famous bw/wm couple have their own reality show. if there is one i guess i missed it because like i said i don't watch tv often but it seems like every d-list bm/ww couple have their own reality show or they make a big deal about them.

If we are going to be technical about it.  Hank is bi-racial.  His mom is white.  The show is mainly about Kendra.  Who had a long running show with Hugh Hefner.  It's was with the same company.  So basically the show is a spin-off of the other show she was on.

It seems that every reality Black woman on TV.  Has to have a white man as a potential partner.  VH1 doesn't exist without a Black woman sexing a white man.

Speaking of sitcoms.  If a Black woman appears on it.  She will have sex with a white man.

or naomi campbell and the russian guy. i cant think of any other couple that would make a more entertaining reality show than that.

and then even not relationships on tv,but whenever they have to have a black person it's always a bm. if there are three friend it's always a ww, wm, and bm, never a bw  ::)

eve is a lot prettier than any of these IR ww with reality shows. why don't her and whatever wm she's with now have one? or lisa bonet? as for sitcoms with ww/bm i'm sure some women here can name plenty

i remember this black woman talking about how one of those guys from keenan and kel were in the news because he married a ww lol it's like they are still alive huh?

and what about that playboy girl with all the botox and that 3rd string football player? why do they have their own show? there are more famous bw with wm that would be more interesting to watch. but maybe they do promote bw/wm and i don't see it because i don't watch tv enough.

First, what would that reason be? Second, how do you make money out of this?

Enough conspiracy theories. The truth is people go on talk shows all the time, and Tony Braxton is going to talk about whatever she wants.

Now, when the guy asks her if she's dating, she feels it necessary to say that she's dating white men now. No one asked her that.

I hope she finds someone nice.
