thank you d luv!   i hadn't heard of the "kingdom in the sky" until i did this topic.  i enjoy doing topics about africa (although i haven't done any new ones in the while because they are very time consuming), but i learn and see things that i never knew existed.  africa is a breathtakingly beautiful place!

why does stuff like this make white people mad or feel the need to get defensive and/or find the negative in it.

on the old site before it crashed, i started the jaw dropping beautiful pictures of africa, and had all of these gorgeous pictures.  then here comes a white man telling us how bad it is in africa...WE ALREADY KNOW THAT, but what we don't know is how good it is too!

Africa can be a wonderful place, you just have to know where to go. Africa isn't a country, it's a continent. It's vast, has many vastly different areas. Some good, some bad. Some incredibly beautiful, some very dangerous. It's not all clear, not all black and white. I'm just against monarchy from a philosophical and moral point of view.

so what.  why can't we show something pretty about black people without the nay sayers?  this thread is not about politics...it's simply about pretty pictures and SOME black people who have some damn money, instead of all of us being dirt poor.

just like those beautiful mansions in nigeria, all of the white people were freaking out and giving thumbs down at the end of the video, and it wasn't even a bad video.  to top it off the guy who made the video was a REAL ESTATE AGENT and he was just advertising his services...it had nothing to do with him bragging, but oh no, even white people in germany had their panties all knotted up over that video, simply because black people had million dollar homes in an african country.

I had nothing against those mansions in Nigeria, that's why I started another thread. I get that the video was just from a real estate agent.

Now, you can't post something about ''royalty'' without starting politics. There's a big difference, in my mind at least, between people who make money from work and entrepreneurship, and people who make it because of their bloodlines.

BTW, ''royalty'' like the queen of England and such is rather a symbolic thing. Although I'd like to see those people go to jail. Like charles, prince william and prince harry, they should all be locked up. They are basically thieves that have made their money by stealing it from ordinary people, by extortion, the oldest mafia trick.

And in countries like Qatar, the king rules absolutely, making laws and such. That's just unacceptable. At least if it's symbolic and historic, it can at least be thought of as not that bad.

Personally, I think anyone pretending to be a king, a queen, a prince, or any title that positions them above human beings, should be put in jail or a mental institution. Monarchies are evil, and monarchs are inbred scum.

I'm against all royalty. I can't support these people who think they have more rights than average people just because they were born in some family. These people are busy eating cake while the masses are starving. And it's not like they worked for it either, just their ancestors terrorized local people into worshiping them. Down with all monarchy.

BTW, in Nigeria, it's more symbolic than an actual ruling monarchy, so I'm not so much against that. I didn't know they had kings in Namibia.
