Only an ignorant racist azz would say something like that. And it would happen regardless of the hue of the skin a person has. The only thing a person who would call another man or woman a monkey, is capable of. Is finding something with others to hate, because there is something about themselves they dislike. It is the one thing I am truly saddened by in humanity that include people of all races because I have seen people of all colors be racists. Skin color is a byproduct of melanin or a lack thereof and nothing more. I could no more hate someone because of something like that than I could hate myself for not looking like a super model or being a billionaire. It is totally senseless and shows genuine stupidity.

I thought the reason racist called black people monkeys/gorillas was to do with the whole association between black people, monkeys and jungles? I think It's because in the racist mind the fact that monkeys are less developed than humans which is why they compare black people to monkeys, so even if someone is a light skinned black person your still a 'monkey/gorilla' 

Once this moron who was waiting in line in the supermarket asked me "What do black people and gorillas have in common?" His answer: 99% DNA My answer: They both **** your white women better than you  that shut him right up (i know it was bitchy but he got on my nerves  )

Well, white men have hairier arms and legs, so are more monkey like. Also, monkeys, apes and gorillas have thin lips(forget that album cover, look at a real picture), like white people, while most black people have fuller lips. So technically, white people look more like monkeys than black people.

I think if you want to be a racist, you accuse some race of acting like an animal. Like calling jews "rats". Or white people "pigs". Or whatever.

I have seen these inconsistencies brought up a number of times, including by Dawn. But there is no reasoning with hardcore racists, which renders THEM to be more like animals.

I imagine that it's because of the combination of brown-ebony skin, wider noses, and black hair.

Do you think that black people would still be compared to apes if an overwhelming amount of black people were light skinned, instead?

I know that President Obama is light skinned.

And this guy is light skinned:



And both have been compared to gorillas.  But I think they are guilty by association, so to speak.

yes, I still think so. I think its just an inferiority thing because black people look nothing like apes...gorillas have straight hair and gorillas noses look nothing like black people's noses, gorillas also have white skin under their fur...not brown and their hair isn't kinky. also there are other groups of people wide noses and dark skin and they do not get called apes. in addition, not all bp have wide noses yet the still get called apes..
